We had such a fun time on the boat in Xochimilco! Alejandro made this such a great day, sharing stories and taking us around the area. Food was good, and the whole day was a lot of fun.

I highly recommend this for families. We traveled with our three kids (ages 9, 7 and 4) and they all loved it. The area is beautiful, lunch was delicious, we learned a lot and our guide Maria was truly wonderful with kids. Our kids especially loved learning the legend of La Llorona and helping to make guacamole on the boat and seeing real axolotls (and some other animals.) They also loved picking songs for a mariachi band to perform on our boat and exploring the islands. This excursion was one of their favorite activities of our time in Mexico City, which is saying a lot since they enjoyed everything.

This tour was one of our trip's highlights! Our guide Christine was excellent - she did a wonderful job of storytelling and sharing the history and landscape of Xochimilco. We had a ton of fun dancing, listening to the mariachi band, and getting to experience a unique part of Mexico City. Cannot recommend enough!
